Fall Frame TV art from the edge of a farm: sixteen original autumn farmhouse scenes in 4K, seven and a half minutes each. Two hours with no music and no narration, made to leave running as a screensaver on a Samsung Frame TV or any 4K screen.
This is the first collection here set outdoors. Every other one so far has been a still life on a table indoors; this one steps out to the edge of a farm in late October, with the sun low and golden from one side and the trees behind turning to haze. Each picture is built around one weathered thing that has been dressed for the season — an old wagon heaped with mums, porch steps lined with pumpkins, a ladder with a pumpkin on every rung, a barn door with crates stacked in front of it.
The look is loose and thick rather than crisp: heavy paint on the sunlit petals and pumpkins, and soft, blended strokes everywhere else, so the background melts away and the eye stays on the arrangement. From across a room it reads as a warm, quiet afternoon rather than a busy farmyard.
It is built to sit on a wall from late October through Thanksgiving.
