Halloween Frame TV art for the last two weeks of October: sixteen original haunted-field scenes of jack-o'-lanterns in witch hats, in 4K, seven and a half minutes each. Two silent hours with no music and no narration, made to leave running as a screensaver on a Samsung Frame TV or any 4K screen.
Every jack-o'-lantern in this collection wears a witch's hat - tall, black and wide-brimmed, with the tip bent over as if it has already been through a few Halloweens. They are out in an old field after dark: sitting round a steaming cauldron, lined up along a ridge against a rising harvest moon, peering out of a cornfield, half sunk in ground fog, perched in the branches of an old apple tree.
It is spooky the way a good Halloween is spooky - mist, crows, a black cat, bare trees and bats crossing the moon - but nothing in it is meant to frighten anyone, and every face is grinning. The light is the whole idea: cool violet night everywhere, and the warm orange glow of the pumpkins pushing back against it.
It is made for the last two weeks before Halloween.
