Christmas Frame TV art with snow falling over every scene: sixteen original pictures of three snowmen on Christmas Eve, in 4K, seven and a half minutes each. Two hours with no music and no narration, made to leave running as a screensaver on a Samsung Frame TV or any 4K screen.
This one tells a small story. The same three snowmen — a tall one in a top hat and red scarf, a round one in a green scarf and earmuffs, and a little one in a red bobble hat — spend Christmas Eve together, from stringing lights on the cottage at dusk to standing at the gate at midnight. In between they carry presents down the lane, skate on the pond, go sledding, light lanterns, look down on the village from the hill, and lie back in the snow to watch the stars.
It reads as a painting rather than a drawing: deep blue night, warm light from windows and lanterns, and a slow snowfall drifting down over the whole thing. Leave it running from the first one and it plays through as the night goes on.
It is made for the last stretch before Christmas, for a room with children in it or a room that would like to feel like it has.
